Google announces, its first ever consumer electronics device, the Nexus Q. Although news and views were spreading no one expected it to be launched at Google I/O.
The device runs Android, though it’s a different version from the phone or tablet. It’s powered by the same CPU as the Galaxy Nexus and is always connected to the cloud.
You can interact with the cute looking device via your Android phone or tablet and you can use it to listen to music, in whichever room you want, or watch a movie on your HDTV.
Features: built-in amplifier with a decent 45W of power, WiFi, ethernet, bluetooth and NFC for connectivity, as well as microUSB.It will sell for $299 and it’s shipping next month.
